Tēnā rā koutou te whakaminenga o Ātiawa, o Ngāti Mutunga, o Ngāti Tama me Ngāti Maru Wharanui. Me tuku mihi ngā mātāpono o tō tātou Poari e mau ana, “He korōria ki te Atua; he maungārongo ki te whenua; he whakaaro pai ki ngā tāngata katoa” Nō reira, tēnā tātou katoa.
Greetings to every person who is descended from a primary ancestor of Te Ātiawa, Ngāti Tama, Ngāti Mutunga and Ngāti Maru Wharanui.
The Office of Treaty Settlements (OTS) has invited Te Ātiawa ki Whakarongotai to consider entering into direct Treaty settlement negotiations through the Crown Recognised Mandate process.
Te Ātiawa ki Whakarongotai Charitable Trust (the Trust) invites you to attend a hui-a-iwi to discuss this process. All interested whānau, hapū, iwi, claimants, hapū entities, and descendants with an affiliation to Te Ātiawa ki Whakarongotai, are encouraged to participate in this kaupapa.
Te Wā: 10.00 am – 1.00 pm, followed by a shared kai
Te Wāhi: Whakarongotai Marae, Waikanae

The Trust has invited Tihema Baker, former OTS Analyst, to again inform our iwi about the Mandate Recognition process. This is the second of several presentation hui the Trust plan to give our confederation of Taranaki iwi adequate time to consider this invitation from OTS.
