Tracey Morgan
Born in Kāpiti, I was raised and live in Waikanae and have raised my children here also.
Currently I am employed as an assessment and moderation facillitator for NZQA. Previous to this, I taught and managed programmes for a Māori PTE and TWOA ki Porirua for 30 years and am actively involved within the Māori Arts sector as a practising Māori visual artist, deputy chairperson for Toi Māori Aotearoa, curator for the annual Ringa Toi National Secondary Māori arts exhibition, and various iwi/hapu representations including Otaraua Hapu and am the Maungakotukutuku Trust chairperson.
I believe my strength is in working collectively to achieve outcomes, being accountable and transparent, seeking opportunities and striving to work efficiently and ‘future focused’.
With a passion for my iwi and the Kāpiti community I will continue to contribute towards the review of our Trust Deed and Governance documents for Te Ātiawa ki Whakarongotai.
