Call for Expressions of Interest for the Āti Awa Toa Hauora Partnership Board 

Kia hiwa rā, kia hiwa rā! 

The Āti Awa Toa Hauora Partnership Board are calling for nominations from Iwi members to form the Āti Awa Toa Hauora Partnership Board.  The formation of the Board is a two staged process with nominations for community and hauora expertise being advertised in the New Year. 

The Board will play a vital role in working closely with the Maori Health Authority and Health NZ in the design and delivery of local health services and will be accountable to Iwi and Maori community in the Te Upoko o te Ika rohe which extends from the Kapiti Coast, to Porirua and the Hutt Valley and to Wellington.  Locality commissioning from assessing the health needs of whanau, identifying priorities and monitoring the services provided are also core functions of the Board. 

We welcome nominations from member who are active participants with their Iwi and their communities and have extensive networks with health providers and other sectors; that understand the role of Iwi Maori Partnership Boards in the new health system; have experience managing budgets and finances as well as reviewing data that supports equitable health services for whanau.
