The Ātiawa Toa Hauora Partnership Board is made up of six members representing Ngāti Toa, Te Āti Awa and Taurahere from the community. The Board is responsible for ensuring the voice of whānau are included in the design and delivery of health and wellbeing services that meet their needs in the Porirua, Kāpiti, Wellington and Hutt Valley rohe.
The Board seek to appoint to this newly created Manahautū role an exceptional senior executive with proven strategic and operational leadership skills. The role will establish the operating environment for good governance and build a new team that is committed to improving services and achieving equitable health outcomes for Māori.
It is a prerequisite that you have a successful track record working with a Board and establishing collaborative working relationships with iwi, senior government officials and community leaders who work in the health and wellbeing sector.
Your ability to design Kaupapa Māori service delivery models and influence change in a complex
sector will be a significant advantage. This is a unique opportunity to be at the leading edge of
change by bringing health sector reforms to life for whānau.
